Rabbits and Cavys!

Hey there! My name is Hannah Abell, my husband and I have a small rabbitry located in Eastbend NC. I have a love and passion for my rabbits. I have been raising rabbits for about 8 years off and on. I have been showing the Mini Rex breed for a bout a year and love every minute of it!
We have a nice little barn set up at our home. We take pride in our rabbits and treat each and every one of them as a living and breathing animal because they are! We love our rabbits dearly and even the ones not showable find awesome homes, we don't kill our babies. We feed Purina Rabbit Chow, Show Formula with a mix of oats and timathy hay a few times a week. Fresh water daily.
I am a book worm! I love reading and so most of our babies get a name from a book I've read or a story I've falling in love with! All get very awesome names :)
Our Mini Rex colors are Black, Blue, Broken (all), BEW, Chocolate, Castor, Chinchilla, Lilac, Opal, Otter (black, blue, chocolate, lilac), Tort, REW, and Himi! As a friend of mine once put it "We have the whole rainbow" LOL!
Our Flemish color right now is Sandy.
Our Havanna colors right now are black and broken black.

Rabbits!
I have a love and passion for my rabbits! I do breed, raise, show, and sell my rabbits but I also have pet and rescue rabbits for adoption as well. Most of my rabbits are pedigreed and of show quality. I have 3 breeds I am current on and will soon be adding more. I have been breeding for 8 years and would be happy to help anyone out that may have some questions about showing, breeding, raising, or selling rabbits. I have experience with more than 10 breeds. I currently have the Mini Rex, Flemish Giant, and Lion head breeds!

I worked with Senia Phillips out of Auburn GA as well. She was wonderful friend and mentor in my rabbit world. Senia sadly passed away right before Christmas of 2010. She is greatly missed and will forever hold a special place in the heart of the rabbit world. R.I.P. Senia, I miss you my sweet friend!!
